Welcome to Azerbaijan - Arrival - Check in
Welcome to Azerbaijan. On arrival in Baku our local representative will meet you outside the baggage hall area at the airport. Proceed to the hotel. Check into your hotel (Standard Check in time after 1500Hrs).
Later in the evening proceed for a orientation tour followed by dinner.
Guided city tour of Baku
Today after buffet breakfast, see the Heydar Aliyev Center– a 57,500 m2 building complex in Baku, Azerbaijan designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid and noted for its distinctive architecture.
Walk through Baku Boulevard which stretches along a south-facing bay on the Caspian Sea. Starts at Freedom Square continuing west to the Old City and beyond. After lunch , we proceed on walking tour of Old City or Inner City is the historical core of Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
Later in the evening return to hotel after dinner.
Visit Ateshgah - Yanardag
Based on Persian and Indian inscriptions, the temple was used as a Hindu and Zoroastrian place of worship.
The pentagonal complex, which has a courtyard surrounded by cells for monks and a tetra pillar-altar in the middle, was built during the 17th and 18th centuries. Later proceed for a Trip to Fire Mountain - Yanardag – a mountain on Abs heron peninsula, Yanardag means Blazing Mountain .
Day Excursion to Gabala
Today after buffet breakfast, Depart towards Gabala, the north-west of Azerbaijan The distance up to Baku 225 km
Later in the evening return to hotel after dinner.
Drive to Tbilisi, Georgia
After buffet breakfast check out and drive to Tbilisi, Georgia.
Proceed to the hotel. Check into your hotel. Later in the evening proceed for a orientation tour followed by dinner.
Day Excursion to Ananuri
Today after buffet breakfast, After breakfast our path will run north along the Georgian Military Highway, to the border with Russia. Throughout the route you will be surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery.
On the way you will visit Ananuri fortress (16th), Jinvali Water Reservoir and see an amazing view of the Gudauri ski resort (photo shoot at beautiful sights). Then we will visit Stepantsminda known as Kazbegi, small town in the north-east Georgia.
Day Excursion to Kahheti
Today we will visit the most remarkable and picturesque hilltop town of Sighnaghi, situated in the very heart of Georgia’s wine growing region, with pastel houses and narrow cobblestone streets overlooking the vast Alazani Valley and Caucasus Mountains.
Masterclasses in churchkhela and Georgian bread “shoti” making followed by tasting the wolrd famous Georgian Wine and lunch.
After, we will visit Bodbe Female monastery (grave of Saint Nino - enlightener of Georgia). Return to Tbilisi followed by dinner.
Fly back home.
